Abby Lee

Assistant Coach

Abby Lee is an Assistant Coach at AlphaStep where she develops and manages physical and online courses, specifically for children and teenagers. Her background as an education specialist allows Abby to find the best approach to teach and motivate young athletes and help them learn about the importance of exercise. Aligned with her philosophy that we need to have a long-term mindset to achieve results, Abby is excited to engage young individuals and build their lifelong habits with AlphaStep’s fun, immersive courses.

Theo Chang

Senior Fitness Trainer

Theo Chang is a Senior Fitness Trainer at AlphaStep, overseeing the delivery and planning of courses to help children and teenagers improve their physical skills and overall wellbeing. Coming from a Taekwondo training background, Theo believes systematic training and development of confidence is key in setting children on a path to success.

Chris

Fitness Trainer

Chris Chan is a Fitness Trainer at AlphaStep. Chris has comprehensive knowledge in fitness and sport coaching. He obtained a Bachelor of Sports Development with Coaching from Northumbria University and a Fitness Training & Management Higher Diploma from Lingnan Institute of Further Education. Chris has been working in the physical fitness industry focusing on children and youth training over 7 years. Backed by extensive experience of working with multiple well-known fitness and education institutions and planning sports programmes and skill learning sessions, Chris is experienced in creating innovative programmes and engaging children and youth throughout the training.

Timmy

Fitness Trainer

Timmy Fan is a Fitness Trainer at AlphaStep where he runs programmes for children to help them experience the fun and beneficial aspects of sports. Timmy’s sought-after expertise combines nearly 8 years’ experience as a swimming coach working with young children and 5 years as a fitness instructor. He provides the care and supervision necessary for children to succeed. His training philosophy is centred around fostering lifelong habits, through learning self-discipline, knowledge of physical education and boosting their confidence in sports and in life.

Jeffrey Lai

Fitness Trainer

Jeffrey Lai is a Fitness Trainer at AlphaStep. Jeffrey is a NASM certified trainer and Youth performance and strength training specialist. Prior to joining AlphaStep, Jeffrey worked in sporting industry for years organising different sporting events and activities for communities, schools and enterprises. With such experiences, Jeffrey is capable of organising sporting activities and programmes with specific goals and themes for different age groups. Jeffrey understands how important physical fitness training is for mental and physical wellbeing, so he strives to create a fun and enjoyable learning environment for both children and adults to build and continue their fitness journey at AlphaStep.

Jennifer Hon

Yoga Instructor

As a lifelong exercise enthusiast, Jennifer Hon started her yoga practice in 2019. She fell in love with the powder of healing that yoga gave from the first yoga class, and she has become a dedicated practitioner since then.
Jennifer became a certified YTT200 yoga instructor under Yoga Alliance in 2020. She has a flair to create a safe and encouraging environment for her classes. Jennifer gives detailed instructions during the class while allowing space for students to explore the physical edge in their practice. She hopes her students can leave every single class with better physical and mental improvements.
